1. Services
WHT Wheaton Concrete provides concrete installation, repair, and related construction services in Wheaton, MD and surrounding areas. All services are subject to availability, scheduling, and site conditions. We reserve the right to refuse service if a project is deemed unsafe, impractical, or outside our scope of work.
Estimates and quotes are based on information provided by the customer and initial site assessment. Final pricing may be adjusted if site conditions differ from initial expectations or if the customer requests changes to the project scope.
2. Quotes and Pricing
All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change based on material costs, project modifications, or unforeseen site conditions. We will notify you of any pricing changes before proceeding with work.
A deposit may be required to schedule your project. The deposit amount and payment schedule will be outlined in your service agreement. Final payment is due upon completion of the project unless other arrangements have been made in writing.
3. Scheduling and Delays
We strive to complete all projects on schedule. However, delays may occur due to weather conditions, material availability, permit requirements, or other factors beyond our control. We will communicate any delays promptly and work to minimize disruption to your schedule.
Customer-requested changes or site access issues may result in project delays. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but they may affect the project timeline and cost.
4. Permits and Regulations
Customers are responsible for obtaining necessary permits unless otherwise agreed in writing. We will provide guidance on permit requirements and can assist with the permitting process if requested. All work will be performed in compliance with local building codes and regulations.
5. Warranty
We stand behind the quality of our work. Specific warranty terms will be outlined in your service agreement and vary based on the type of work performed. Warranties typically cover defects in workmanship but do not cover damage caused by improper use, neglect, natural disasters, or normal wear and tear.
To maintain warranty coverage, customers must follow recommended maintenance procedures and notify us promptly of any concerns.
6. Liability
WHT Wheaton Concrete maintains appropriate insurance coverage for our operations. We take reasonable precautions to protect your property during our work. However, we are not responsible for damage to underground utilities, sprinkler systems, or other hidden structures that are not marked or disclosed prior to excavation.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all utilities are properly marked before work begins. We recommend contacting Miss Utility or similar services to locate underground lines.
7. Cancellation and Changes
If you need to cancel or reschedule your project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start date may result in forfeiture of deposit or cancellation fees to cover mobilization costs.
Changes to the project scope after work has begun may result in additional charges and timeline adjustments. All change requests must be approved in writing before we proceed.
8. Website Use
The information on our website is provided for general informational purposes. While we strive to keep information accurate and up to date, we make no warranties about the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of this information.
